Matthew J. Cunningham, CWS®, CFP®

Matt earned the designations of Certified Wealth Strategist® Professional in 2008 and Certified Financial Planner® Professional in 2012. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Matt joined First Financial Advisory Services, Inc. in 2007 after a 16-year career as an environmental consultant specializing in risk management. He is an Investment Advisor Representative as well as Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer for First Financial Advisory Services, Inc., an independent Registered Investment Advisor.  Matt is also a Registered Representative with First Allied Securities, Inc., an independent securities broker/dealer.  He is a member of the Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce and the RI Estate Planning Council.  He serves on the board of the Colonial Theater of Westerly, and is a current member and past president of the Westerly Lions Club.
